When Kyle Hamer, a marketing industry veteran and leader with over 15 years of experience, decided to start a new venture, he explored the various challenges present in the industry that can to be addressed. He observed that most digital agencies focus on paid advertising and provide services in SEO, social media, and marketing campaigns to increase the leads. However, they often overlook marketing automation that allows companies to target customers with automated messages across different channels to generate leads. He also realized that to reap benefits out of this disrupting technology and realize its full potential, companies require experienced professionals who have the knowledge in the correlation of business and market rather than freshers who need coaching. With the idea to bring together expertise from various marketing automation platforms and complement the marketing technology, Hamer founded Hamer Marketing Group (HMG) with Sarah Hamer, a serial entrepreneur. The company offers marketing automation services for busy CMO’s, VP of Sales, and Marketing Operation teams. Currently, Hamer is the CEO & Co-founder, and Sara, the COO & Co-founder of HMG.
With the emphasis on marketing automation, HMG helps clients create inbound and outbound programs that drive leads across various channels such as paid and SEO/SEM. The marketing automation services include email marketing, lead scoring, and staff augmentation, which nurture the leads by integrating sales and marketing teams. The company deploys a strategist and a campaign builder into the marketing department and assists them in setting up various tools for marketing automation operations. The CEO highlights an instance where a client had approached HMG who had spent more than $80,000 for driving 200,000 visitors to its new product page, but the sale was not growing as expected. The company evaluated the entire process. They found out that the client did not have enough call to actions on their website and had a form that required 18 fields to be filled out. However, the third critical flaw that the sales team was not calling the customers for 48 hours or more resulted in losing business to other competitors. The company came up with a comprehensive plan to align its operation and put checkmarks to know if the tests implemented were deployed successfully. With a break, fix, and monitor approach HMG fixed these issues to generate good lead flow.
Currently, HMG supports marketing automation platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Net- Results, Mailchimp, and ActiveCampaign. The company aims to be client agnostic and support more automation systems in the future.
